Our History and Credentials
Fibrex Industrial and Construction Group has a long and distinguished history in the region.
From early beginnings in 1972, Fibrex have evolved into an expansive special grade Design and Build Construction Group with a truly integrated capability with an annual turnover in excess of one billion dirhams.
Since 1972, our track record includes work on most of the prestigious and specialist projects in the region, such as Emirates Palace and the Grand Mosque in Abu Dhabi, the Palm Island in Dubai, First Residence in Egypt and Tehran Towers in Iran.
Our specialties include extensive works for Royal Buildings, including works undertaken in the UAE, Saudi Arabia and Oman.
Applying this pioneering culture of innovation with their traditional values for quality workmanship, Fibrex successfully deliver complete design and construct project solutions having a significant impact on the regions rapid growth.
With the head office located in the manufacturing and commercial heart of Abu Dhabi, Fibrex have also expanded internationally opening offices in Egypt and Lebanon; and carrying out projects throughout the GCC and in various locations including Oman, Jordan, and Saudi Arabia.
With our integrated capabilities , Fibrex are undertaking projects with values in excess of AED 3 billion.

Fibrex are unique as a construction group in the region offering clients a complete design and construct contracting solutions, reinforced with our ability to self deliver the core construction elements with the support of our specialist Divisions and Industries.
Fibrex Industrial & Construction Group is made up of 3 Divisions; Contracting, Specialist Contracting Divisions & Industries. This combination means Fibrex are able to provide a ‘one stop shop’ for construction and project delivery, maintaining control over the supply chain resulting in cost efficiencies, better integration of design and seamless project delivery.

Fibrex are dedicated to continuous development, innovation and improvement to construction products, production techniques, modern methods of construction and improved buildability.
The ‘state of the art’ production facilities are designed to integrate with fast track construction programmes, enabling large volumes of production to high standards resulting in reduced durations on site, manpower, waste, and cost. At Fibrex we combine modern production methods and materials, advanced designs whilst maintaining traditional values.

Design & Engineering Expertise
Fibrex Industrial & Construction Group employs a large ‘in house’ design and engineering department. In addition we have established relationships with local and international design consultants providing the design expertise to deliver the right solution to the most intricate or unusual construction project.
Through these resources we are able to encompass all elements of the building process from the structural design, the architecture, the mechanical electrical and plumbing services and the finishings and interior design.
Fibrex’s expertise lies in their ability to understand, analyse and interpret the Clients requirements to deliver a product engineered and designed to offer the client ‘best value’ for their investment.

Extensive Resources
Fibrex is backed by extensive resources. The Group directly employs over 7000 staff and labour, across 4 different countries and our 3 different divisions. In addition we have a sophisticated inventory of plant and equipment deployed throughout our projects and divisions.
Our Industries operate from our factory facilities purpose built for each division. Alongside our Divisions we operate a full contingent of support services, provided by our in house Plant & Maintenance section, Centralised Facilities for labour welfare accommodation and transport, and head office facilities. All our support departments have a major presence on all our projects offering a fully integrated team approach.

Quality
Fibrex Industrial & Construction Group operates a Quality Management System which complies fully with BS EN ISO 9001:2000. Compliance with the standard requires the high quality of planning, project management and execution which has become the hallmark of the Group. Originally accredited in 1999, Fibrex has maintained its accreditation through all the subsequent audits, both internal and external.
Fibrex have won an extensive list of awards for quality of design, construction and management – further evidence of our commitment to quality. Our awards include international recognition in Strasbourg, France by the GRCA (Glassfiber Reinforced Concrete Association), namely the GRCA International Merit Award 1995 for its outstanding performance to the construction industry. Fibrex are also proud to have been selected to participate in the 1998 UAE ‘Offset’ programme, and are one of the first companies in the UAE to complete the programme.
